Job Summary: 

The Licensed Therapist responsible for managing a clinical case load, providing a combination of the following services: case management, quality intake, assessment, diagnosis, treatment  planning, intervention, supportive therapy, group therapy, family therapy, evaluation and termination. This position is responsible to provide educational presentations and workshops, and to fulfill contract agreements with county agencies, and schools. Supervision of peers, volunteers and staff may be requested.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Education: Master's degree in a related field plus a Minnesota license as an LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC are required.

Job-Related Experience: A minimum of two years of post-Master’s experience, including completion of clinical supervision toward licensure.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Must possess Minnesota licensure for LP, LPCC, LICSW or LMFT; must have education and/or experience diagnosing mental health disorders

Job Summary: 

In addition to working at the Granite City Counseling, it is expected that the Clinical Trainee I or II will be working with the child and adolescent population and also aid in partnering within Granite City Counseling by providing individual and group psychotherapy to individuals in others programs as needed.

Clinical Trainee I  Minimum Qualifications: 
Education: Master's Level Degree in Psychology, Community Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

Job Related Experience: Experience requirement is successful completion of a Master's level internship. 

Additional Requirement: Must be in a track of licensure for LP, LPCC, LICSW or LMFT; required curriculum on diagnosing mental health disorders.

Clinical Trainee II Minimum Requirements: 

Education: Master’s Level Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Community Counseling.

Job Related Experience: One year of post-master's experience, along with completion of a minimum of 50% of clinical supervision toward licensure. 

Additional Knowledge, skills, and abilities required: Must be in a track of licensure for LP, LPCC, LICSW or LMFT; required curriculum on diagnosing mental health disorders.

Job Summary:

The Intake Coordinator/Payment Coordinator is responsible for intake interviews of potential counseling clients, initial scheduling with appropriate therapist, entering data, looking up insurance, completing prior authorizations for testing, establishing payment types, and maintaining client records, as well as covering reception areas as needed.  Also responsible for various tasks relative to the clinic business operations including post-monthly close accounts receivable billing amendment, insurance collection, and self-pay collection. Completes prior authorizations for service and prescription and required insurance information. Must have knowledge and stay current on company specific insurance policies and practices. Also, provides backup for clinic reception.

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages the intake process with potential clients which includes reviewing services, interviews clients to gather intake information and reviews program expectations and billing. Maintains program schedule with new and current clients, scheduling all client appointments.  For new clients, assess the most appropriate counselor based on protocol and availability. 

  • Manages the payments rendered for services. Must maintains knowledge of all Private Pay, Medical Assistance, County and spend down billing requirements and keeps current with all changes. Keep all payment activity up to date in the system. 

  • Greets clients and serves as primary telephone and in-person receptionist for the department.

Job Requirements:

Education:  Two (2) years post-secondary education preferred  or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.  Insurance billing preferred, but not required.                      

Job Related Experience:  Two (2) years experience in a customer service or health care experience working with individuals in stressful situations. Clinic experience preferred.
